Do any fellow minnesotans know of locations in-state where I can audition the Stax Omega II with one of their better amps? The Needledoctor in Dinkytown has claimed to carry this set-up, but they don't seem to stock it or have a demo unit (the best headphones I've seen there were the HD600's).

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Audio Perfection is the only official Stax dealer in Minnesota. I have no idea which Stax units (if any) they have in the store. Please post their reply.

You can find other official US dealers here.

I haven't seen any Stax units at Needle Doctor, but you can probably order from them.

pikawel, if you had omega II's, I just might jump on the opportunity to have a listen!

btw, I also sent out emails to stores in Madison and Appleton Wisconsin. Hopefully I'll get a reply from them too. Madison isn't extremely far from the twin cities. I'm guessing that Appleton is around...4-5 hours away?
