I'm replacing my damaged audio jack with a Pailiccs Vx 3.5mm Stereo Jack http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B006IQNWGE/
 
The width of the cable however is quite a bit smaller than the space in the jack which leaves a bit of a gap that doesn't look great. Could you suggest anything that I could use that sits between the cable and the jack?

I'd like to hear others suggestions as well.  I stack layers of heatshrink tube.  It works but doesn't look very nice.
