I mean there is still plenty of good music from not that long ago that has aged well. "Good music" is also incredibly subjective. Pop music has always kind of stunk and drowned out everything else on the airwaves.

I disagree, I have collected a 715 track playlist of my favorite 'pop' songs, and it's awesome. i have over 33,000 albums in my collection from every genre, except country and rap...

POP music gets a bad rap.
