Can anyone recommend some military/spy music? I can't really put it into words, but I'm looking for stuff like:

Metal Gear Solid:
YouTube - Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater Soundtrack: Main Theme

Blassreiter:
YouTube - Medicine - Blassreiter OST

Bourne Identity:
YouTube - The Bourne Supremacy - Gathering Data sound track

Music from the entire Metal Gear Series pretty much sums up the genre I'm looking for. I have already checked out other stuff by Harry Gregson Williams, so keep that in mind.

Thanks Head-Fi,

-ac.

When I read your thread title I was about to suggest some actual regimental marching songs, pipes & drums or reveille.

At least that's what I think of when I think "military music".

Frank Klepackis stuff for Westwood was pretty much all awesome. Red Alert 2 for military theme and Tiberian Sun (excepting Mutants) for spy theme would be most apt.

ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.

Amon Tobin - Splinter Cell:Chaos Theory soundtrack.

There's a 5.1 mix available on DVD as well as a 2-1/2 hour extended 'Gamerip' version floating around on the internets.

Man does Hell March get some extra details now with a good setup than back in 90'ies with the dual plastic speakers at 0.05$ - NOW FREE with your PC!

Most of the older tracks was free for download at one point on the C&C offical site.

That was pretty sick, especially when it goes into the electronic/drum part with dialog strewn in. Bookmarked.
