I didn't like it.
The instructions for closing the demo window didn't work. I paniced and unplugged my computer. Now it won't start up again.
Now what do I do?

I'm sure you are joking, but if the demo froze up you could have gotten rid of it by pressing ctrl-alt-delete and end task or just shut off your computer without pulling the plug. The plug should only be pulled in the most dire circumstances (never). Still, I bet you are just kidding.

I missed the paper clip part.

I actually did have to use the ctrl-alt-delete to get out of this thing.

So, yes I was kidding, somewhat.

I just played with the most recent Longhorn build....folks...MS is going to require entire new machines once again for this beast. Benchmarking it against a full eyecandy enabled XP...and XP SMOKED it on a P4 2.2. So sad. It was only a build and the gui is very much in its early stages...but still. It was bloated as hell.

That said, there are so many "cool" features for the common folk...that it will be a big big seller. Oh yes...and DRM will be in every version. There will not be a DRM-free version.

Linux makes me happy.

Is there a way out of it besides ctrl-alt-del ? I want to send it to a few people, some of whom aren't very computer literate and may freak out if trapped in Windows RG.
