I changed the cable on my Sony MDR-7506 to a Canare L-4E5C to integrate a microphone. Now I get significant microphonics in the left earpad. Is there anything I can do to mitigate this?
If not then maybe a different cable would. The stock cable didn't have this issue. It was very a very flexible cable with a thick outer jacked and 3 enameled conductors. The problem is that I don't know how or where to find cables like that, let alone with 4 conductors. Searching for it is really difficult. Adding "enameled" in a cable search brings up magnet wire which is not what I need. Is there a specific name for this type of cable with enameled wires?
Thank you
