well, perhaps i'm gonna buy an old micro seiki electrostatic headphone. but first i want to know something about them..my question ofcourse, does anybody know something about them???
i know they are rare to find and there is almost no reference about them. yes, i also know, they made good TT. but those headphones...

Stan,

I believe the Micro Seiki may have been made by Stax based on the SRX series.

I remember reading something about those phones sometime in the late 1970's.

They were one of my first headphones and sounded rather bright and thin, with a technical flavor and small soundstage, musically uninvolving to my ears. But this was with mediocre electronics around them from my today's perspective. Anyway, I'm sure I wouldn't like them too much now.
