Congrats. I want to hear those! I'm addicted to my Grado SR225i right now. Would love to hear the 325 series.

There's a HUGE difference between the SR325 and SR225i from what I remember the 225i sounding like. I perceive the bass to extend farther and mids are more forward, but we can do an actual comparison come April

I've been watching this post for awhile since I'm starting to get the itch for a set of ortho's (leaning towards LCD2).

My contribution would be my Schiit Bifrost and Lyr (+ a few tube sets).

If you folks wouldn't mind a 52 year old FOG (fat old guy) participating, I might have to throw my hat in the ring.

My schedule changes often, so I'm tentative, but if I see the addition of some HD800's in the list, that might make this a definite.

Regards......

You are welcome to hang with me. I'm a 48 year old TOG (tall old guy). LOL

I can do you one better, I'm 19 without a car and I'm trying to con my parents into taking me on a 2 hour drive to Lansing because I don't have a car/license.

So I'd be a 19YOWACWTTCHPITHOA2HDTL. Woo!

I can one-up that.

I'm a 16 year-old who has successfully conned my father to take me on a 1.5 hour drive to Lansing because I don't have a car/license.

I'm a 16YOWACWSCMFTTMOA1.5HDTLBIDHACOL.

Beat that!

Also: I just bought some DBI Pro 700 headphones.

I am really interested in going and am thrilled to see so many head-fiers within screaming distance. I can bring a pair of Senn HD600s with balanced Stephan Audio Art E-Series cables and (hopefully, if it is released by then) a Centrance HIFI-M8. I can also take a pair of Shure SE530s but I don't know what the gross factor/etiquette is with IEMs. Also, if anyone is interested, I have an old HeadRoom Supreme amp. Also, Macbook Pro with Pure Music (and much good music).

NO! We draw the line at 16 year olds who don't have their license yet (hehe)

Of course. Anyone is welcome :D

. . . Well, except maybe for someone determined to come just to show off their great pair of Beat Studios

If anyone comes with their parent, convince them to listen to all the headphones. Don't tell them the prices though.

Yeah, you got to get them hooked before breaking the news to them that they just listened to $2000+ in audio gear.

Would love to really see that in the meet.

I'll make my Dad listen to the headphones, then i'll tell him the price. See his immediate dislike of my headphone hobby.
