Just saw it tonight -- excellent documentary. I've gotta say, I think he's still got it at 50. Anyone else seen it? Also, what were the custom IEMs that they were using?

Nice. I wanna see it. It doesn't suprise me that he rocks at 50. He had so much energy like the sun.

I'm sick of hearing about him to be honest. His death is just a huge money grab...

The TVGUIDE channel has turned into the 24/7 mj channel... Sick of listening to that while I look to see whats on tv.

I thought the footage was alright. It didn't really feel like it was worth the price of going to the movie theater for though. I think it would have been better off as a VH1/MTV premiere special more than anything. To me, it felt like it was just trying to squeeze the last couple of dollars out of Michael Jackson's death.

You know, I thought it did a great job in humanizing MJ as a better lasting memory than the one a lot of us have. I really hope this doesn't descend into the recursive loop discussion of personal life things ... not because I don't think that they're important but because I think that they are unresolvable from our perspectives. I am certain we all have opinions on the man and the music. One thing that's clear to me is that his genius was never more clear to me, performance-wise, and I only wish I could have seen this concert live.

I'm with you, I was bummed that he died but the frenzy of media and family exploitation of his death quickly soured me to anything MJ related.. thankfully most of it has subsided and this film buzz shall to pass soon enough. Hopefully This IS It.

Sick money grab.. And people encourage it by buying tickets.. This could and should have been made when he was alive. But wheres the money in that? His popularity in the states was ziltcho before his death..

So no dangling babies off a balcony. He was just a troubled man with talent, yet ppl put him on a pedestal...Seriuosly, what has he done musically that was worthy of aclaim after 91? NOTHING!

The movie was a very good documentary of his tour preparation and showed MJ to be in good form. The pace kept my interest up until the end of the movie. Good sound, and a glimpse behind the scenes made it fun to watch.
