i need to use a mic for gaming and i use a zalman zm1 clip on mic. it is kinda tight on my 595, hasnt left any marks but it just feels a little tight on the grip. would the mic ruin the signal to the headphones or interfere in anyway? i know any kind of noise can mess with the audio signal but are the cables on the 650 shielded enough to where it doesnt matter. its either that or i put it on my shirt which would be close to the cable anyways. so choices are either on the cable itself or on my shirt near the cable.

suggestions welcome for alternate solutions.

The zalman is as good of a solution as you are going to find. It's surprisingly good compared to the el-crappo mics you find on most gaming headsets too.

espire, i had a BIG problem with feedback from my headphones with a desk mic. obviously of poor quality. but this little cheap zalman is a great performer. sound quality is amazing for the 5 dollar price tag. i havent had any feedback issues with the 595s i have right now. doubt the 650s should be annoying either. i just wanted to make sure there wouldnt be any crosstalk.
