Anyone tried this? I'm not even sure if this can be done, and would like to know how. I currently have my MG Head/OTL listed F/S because I'm going to use a Fisher 400 for my main headphone amp. I'm considering keeping the Head and using it with my computer (headphones and computer are now in seperate rooms).

Yeah you could. The computer has a line out so just use mini to mini. But it maybe you could use the $$$ from selling it for something else.

Better cables, or even the more music? Or how about to fund a future upgrade?

I used my MG-Head with the computer alot. Originly I had a 1/8 to RCA adapter and some decent RCA cables to the head, and once I got my MAudio 2496, its got RCA outputs in the back.

One word of caution, you have to be carefull to keep the audio cables away from the other cables, or else you can pick up alot of interference (i found the monitor was the worst)
