Who builds it?
Where is the manufacture company located at?
Do they sale direct?
What is the problem with the amplifier reliability?

What goes wrong with the amp?
Is it expensive to repair?
What warranty do they offer?

Are there any other similar amplifiers?

Thank you.

The search feature is very handy. There is tons of info on the MG Head, you just have to take responsibility and look for it.

I was thinking on buying the amp, but I saw on headroom that the amp has reliability problems. Anyway, I needed it to have fast answers to my questions since you guys claim to be very knowledgeable about this particular amp and headphones. I guess it takes more energy and time to type a post by instructing people to do a search than just giving a link to the information needed or giving the actual answers when someone is knowledgeable in a particular matter.

By the way, the search did not answer all my questions. It is ok, anyway, from some of the guys that were burned I can conclude that I don’t want to take the risk.

If you're worried about reliability problems, you could purchase a used unit from a Head-Fi member. This way you'll know the history of the amp, and if no problems have occurred it's less likely you'll have a problem in the future.

judgmentday,

Keep in mind that Antique Sound Labs recently redesigned their amp line, separating the power supplies from the amp chassis. I am, however, not sure exactly when these are coming to market (they may already be available).

Call Divergent (http://www.divertech.com), or search the forums for possible release date mentions from Joe Lau.

Thanks Sovkiller,

It looks very good.
Just like my Audible Illusions Preamplifier that has an umbilical cord!

Mmm, I guess that it will be my next acquisition
