I know there have been a couple of threads about modding this amp. But my qustion is. If you were to replace the caps, resistors , wiring, electrical stuff and Pot. Would it make it a better amp? I just love these little amps. Also when in the new one coming from ASL?

It is on my test bench now. I will hand carry it to CES soon. It will be together with New Twin Head with seperated power supply.
HB1- Hybird Buffer for headPhone(This Headphone amps only can drive Low impedance Cans if you don't connect to pre-amps. It can be higher output if connect to Pre-amps but I still suggest use on Low impedance cans).

My first round of mods to an MG Head DT (the amp that started it all!) was just exactly that. Pulled the resistors, caps, and much of the wiring, and put in solid but not audio-nut parts. Probably spent like $30 total on parts. I stayed away from circuit mods until later.

It makes a nice difference in the resolution of the amp. It's worth the time, especially if you're going to go to the trouble of circuit mods later.

I'd leave the pot -- it's a pretty good pot and you can only make pots sound but so good. See my thread on shunting it instead, for a change that will blow you away.
