As long as people are willing to fork out the big bucks, prices will continue to stay the same or rise.
There are a few out there that offer great products at a reasonable price like Schiit,
Mr. Speakers with their new Aeon and of course the king of the hill with regard to price versus performance.....Meze.
Fingers crossed the business model stays intact.

I hear you. I've owned the Aeon closed, Opposition PM-3 and the Questyle QP1R in the past and these products all offered great price vs performance.

Bottom line is as long as these new big-boy toys keep coming out and we have to be the first kids on the block to get it, it'll be a long time before we see things settle down "across the board"
I'm still going to stay true to my belief that Meze will continue down the road of user friendly retails offering us a quality product at the same time. But no one has ever labeled me smart either as long as I continue to believe in Peter Pan, Santa Clause, .........
