This is another one you guys have been waiting for since earlier this year when we teased it at High End Munich. This release is really super exciting for us, as we’ve put a lot of effort into refining this headphone into something that we believe many of you will enjoy - we know we do! Without further ado, this is the Meze Audio 105 AER!

Rich-sounding and versatile, 105 AER was created for those who value a deeper connection to their music - an adaptable open-back headphone, perfectly suited for all musical genres. Inspired by bio-architecture and Nature’s balancing act, 105 AER stands at the peak point of tonal equilibrium.

PREMIUM SENSORIAL EXPERIENCE

Meticulously crafted using premium materials including cast zinc alloy, stamped manganese spring steel and PU leather in its headband design, along with velour ear coverings, the 105 AER provides comfort listening, true to our ergonomic design language. As the lightest open-back model to date, at just 336g, the 105 AER offers extended and uninterrupted listening sessions.

Also featuring a newly refined voicing within the headset’s 50mm dynamic driver membranes, 105 AER proves as responsive and well-suited to all music types as they are reliable. With a slight emphasis on bass and sub-bass capabilities, these marvels provide a more resonant foundation, enhancing the overall sense of immersion and adding a satisfying and full-bodied depth to your music.

TECH SPECS:

Transducer Size: 50 mm
Frequency Response: 5 Hz-30 kHz
Impedance: 42 Ω
Sensitivity: 112 dB SPL at 1kHz, 1 mW

I heard those at Munich high end.
A darker tuning than 109 Pro. Amazing headphones for the money.

The straight connectors are a huge annoyance, especially since it's been fixed in the 109 and now in the later release they introduce this problem.

I hope to see a flagship dynamic driver Meze next. Something on the Elite level but with dynamic driver impact and Note weight.(As well as the flagship build and comfort)

I agree with you there. Sennheiser HD620s need a proper competitor in the sub 1K price range.
Can't imagine anyone better than Meze to fullfill such hole on the market.

Can anyone comment on the sound stage and imaging of these new cans?
