All the high end tube amps deserve a potent DAC and source imo.

And if talking about tubes in the DAC, I don't Think there even are inexpensive Tube DACs

That depends on the amp. If it’s a slow, romantic coloured amp - I would agree with you. But something transparent and dynamic with good transient speed - the Apex amps and Eddie Currents require a good DAC. The exact reason I want a Studio B (especially with 2A3 tubes). If someone decides to sell their Studio Tribute version in 240v, I would snap it up.

I not only would consider pairing an excellent dac with a TOTL tube amp, I plan on doing exactly that someday. Always wanted to have a great tube amp as experimental variant to try out. I think first step would be working on the best dac I can afford, likely Holo Audio May or KTE Spring 3, DENAFRIPS Terminator, or possibly Yggdrasil LIM, and then later work on acquiring a nice tube amp.

Would absolutely love to hear Elites on a great tube amp, Wells Audio Dragon, Feliks Audio Envy, etc. Seems pursuit of sonic excellence far outpaces the budgetary constraints unfortunately. LOL

I can vouch for Elite on Envy.

I was very much a tube Amp noob until I was educated here.

I only learned of the mighty Elrog about 2 months ago.

I understand the Elrog gods appreciate a sacrifice now and then....this will be incurred financially.

Mine were ordered a few weeks ago for my Envy. I can't wait For that.

Listening to Jacob Gurevitsch on Lovers in Paris album, on the song Mapa de Soledad there are some voices way in the background and some other sounds that seem to come from the other side of the room literally. Freaky gorgeous. I had not heard those details before listening on Tidal with the Elites. I had to keep looking around to try to find out where the little noises or voices were coming from as it sounded way "out there". This is just crazy. Love these things so much!
