Meze Audio 109 Pro

Today I got my Meze 109 pro, after some hours and side by side comparison with Fidelio X3 I must admitted that are almost similar profile even found my C3 a little more “clear” and better in voices and mids, I know that many of you will think that I’m crazy but one meme we here already comment this , crazy, usd150 against usd700 ……..hope that after burning change a little and can bite the big amount that pay for its, Meze has better sub bass and more mid bass and voices are a little bit less near , crazy, BTW, I have M1570, M1070C, Elegia, Fidelio X2, had, ibasso sr2, Neumann NDH30, dt1990, Hifiman XS and many others

Well you could look at it and say you are paying $500 more for the comfort and the pretty looks :wink:
On a seious note, once I put some hours into mine they did improve as far as I am concerned, hope you come to the same conclusion.

for me the 109 also improved over time or i got used to them. i didn't enjoy them that much to begin with but after many hours they became enjoyable and i can't put them off anymore. also the 109 respond very well to EQ

crap i just noticed some "scratches" on the wood part of my 109 pro. should i worry about it? i really can't afford a new pair of headphones right now.

I treat mine with a light coat of walnut oil wood wax. Hides the scratches.

Has anyone got any pad suggestions for a more open fit? The stock pads are fantastic but feel more like on ear then over ear

The Manta is gorgeous. Everyone says its 'over-proced' but tell you what... I'd sooner spend $300 on this than any upgrade cable lol.

For me is not my cup of tea, I’m selling now, is beautifully build but sound is not my preference and I think is overpriced, the timbre in the voices despite the treble emphasis for me don’t sound natural . Is better my Monolith M1570 or M1070C even my Momentum 3, of course Neumann NDH30 also is over this regarding sound quality, Fidelio X3 sound better than this , side by side compared. Bye Meze
