Cool. Just ordered these too. Mostly because they look comfy and they're slightly deeper than the original pads.
I'm wearing the 99 classics at work all day every day and I notice my left ear touching the sponge covering the driver.
Hoping some thicker pads will help making these as comfortable as they were when I first got them.

Throughout the day it can be sensible enough to eventually lead to discomfort. Deeper pads recommended!

Micro-fibre and memory foam, just a bit bigger and deeper than the stock pads (I think I had the original v1 pads on them, I think).
Sound-wise they didn't alter the Meze magic (ymmv).

I guess you will lose the original bass due to the soft material of the earpads?
I am very hapy with my replaced leather earpads : comfort, sound quality and durability ..

The material is very soft but dense as well, I'm not experiencing a form of lack of bass at all.

We wouldn't say it's this muddy to have vocals drowned, but some openness does nice things to sound of these cans.
