I have been using spark the plug for a while but I's now time for me to buy something better. I have been looking around and found ultimate ears who seem to make good IEMs for a good price.

How much does the spark isolate? I have looked everywhere but I haven't found an answer. The fi.2 isolate 16 db and the fi.3 isolate 26 db, wich one is the closest to the spark when comparing isolation?

I have been looking at pictures on the fi.3 and they seems to be quite big and ugly. Is there anyone here who have the fi.2 or fi.3 studio? Are you happy?

I want a IEM that can handle the small details in classic musik and at the samt time deliver nice bass when playing rock. The price should be about the same as the fi.2 and fi.3. Any recommendations?

Classic music as in classical? If you want detail in Classical music the Super.fi 3's are it. I really enjoy the Metal, Indie, Alternativ, Screamo, and very little Hip-Hop I listen to on them. I shall forewarn you that the Super.fi 3's don't have "booming" bass, if you want a lot of bass go for the Metro.fi 2's. Also I don't think the Super.fi 3's are that big, but then again, I may have big ears, they're smaller than you think.

Thank you for your answer.
Yea, classical music.

I don't want a "booming" bass. I got enough of that with my spark-plugs... I want a precise and controlled bass. It should go deep but it doesn't need to be... "booming"

Have you compared the isolation between the plug or spark and fi.3?

Both are pretty good, and I'd say the isolation is similar. The 2 is a bit more compact and sleek looking, but not quite as comfortable. The 3 definitely has a better midrange, and as such, I general prefer its' sound. However the 2 has better bass punch and extends lower, so it's better for electronic music, and perhaps better for rock. At this price point you have to make some trade-offs, and even the best headphones can't do classical and rock equally well.

I do have a pair of koss in-ear's (note my sig.) and they are really bassy, and highs are not clear at all, I really think you'll be happy with the Super.fi 3's. Even on UE's website they say the headphone is engineered towards classical music.

Thanks for all your answers! I couldn't find ATH-CK7 here in Sweden so I bought the super.fi 3 studio. It should arrive via mail tomorrow!!! Do you think they require a burn-in?!
