So who has it?!?!?
I just found a copy and yes, it sounds awesome. Well not quite, but it's awesome compared to the CD release. Finally I can listen to it from start to finish and know I am in fact listening to Metallica.
For those who don't know what I'm talking about, Metallica's latest album has the worst mastering with loundness I've heard so far, can't even tell it's Metallica. For Guitar Hero 3, the game, their whole album was released also. But the mastering for game was done by a different person and studio. It sounds incredibly different and better.
On my Compass, normal CD version the volume is at 7:30 and sounds terrible with loudness.
GH3 version, it's at 9:30 and good. I like it. Now that I can listen to it, I am enjoying it.
