Oh cool, I will have a look at them! How do they fare in terms of vocals and bass?

From my perspective, very well. The bass is quite good with nice definition. The hallmark in my mind is the imaging, among the best in my collection.

Joined this family when my local distributor is offering 50% discount for Balmung (~USD 1400 in my place)
The bass is strong and I like it more than my CFA Andromeda and AK X JH Roxanne II
I would say it is very easy to drive (although I never tried to drive it with a smartphone)

Hello, has anyone compared the Rhapsodio Infinity MK2 against the Thummim? Have decided to narrow it down to these two and can't decide which one to go for, both look excellent, just unsure what the major differences would be

Being all-rounder, my Thummim LE is now facing a serious challenge from Viking Ragnar. I am leaning towards the new comer in that category.

Bumping an old thread, I know, but how does Thummim compare to XE6?
If I'm not a fan of neutral tuning, should I avoid the limited edition entirely and opt for the regular version?

In Short: the Thummim is a more relaxed version of the XE6. Both have a bass extension, and a bit of recessed mids. The highs are more defined with Thummim, but not as sharp as XE6. The resolution is great on both. The bass of the Thummim is a slower and not as punchy, but has more rumbling in the Subbass.

It’s definitely not a neutral tuning, and it is also not as aggressive as its design.

When you say "relaxed"--less fun sounding than the XE6? I really dig the visual aesthetic of the Thummim, but I want agressive bass if possible that's at least as well-defined as the XE6.

The Thummim is better with Rock and Metal. The XE6 with Electronic Music. Both got powerful bass. The decay of the XE6 is faster, but the Thummim has more substance behind that kick, not as hollow.

They both are fun making IEMs, but in a different way. XE6 smashes, but can be fatiguing after a while. Thummim is not as aggressive, but has truly power, but more balanced on a way. The treble is one of the best I‘ve heard. Thummim can do male and female voices.

Avoid the limited edition if I dislike neutral tuning? I guess I'm also wondering, how different is the Thummim to the XE6? Different enough to justify owning both, or not really? Wondering how it compares to the Evos as well.

If you give Thummim power it will do.

If I'm really in love with my Balmung, would Thummim blow me away? The Balmung is such a beautiful iem with all BA. I've not heard a better BA, but I've also not heard U12t which everyone seems to feel rules the BA kingdom.

My guess is a definite yes, although the P6pro is not a good source for it.
As @RTodd pointed out Thummim shines the more power you give it and the p6pro doesn't really have enough of it sometimes.

Having owned both the OG and LE I can say that the LE simply is a notch better in all departments in comparison with not loosing the bass quality but leveling its quantity to not interfere with the midrange.

Also cables can impact and alter the Thummim SS greatly.
