META42 question for JMT
sorry to bring this up on the forum jon, but i wasn't sure how to attach a pic on pm or the h-fi email thingy.

anyway, i was tighening the power jack on the meta you made for me, and it turned and a couple of wires got pulled out of the back of the power jack.

it seems battery opperation is dead, but wallwart power works.

if you can tell from this pic (sorry for the low rez), can you identify how to rewire this correctly?
1 & 2 are the broken wires (dotted to show path)
a b and c are the connectors on the back of the power plug (that i can see)
the wires leading FROM b & c connect to the meta board and are still soldered and intact.

if you can tell me which wire needs to be soldered back to which lead, i'd be grateful.

Wire #1 => tab C

Wire #2 => tab A

At least from what I can tell with your pics. The two red wires both go to the same solder lug on the power jack. The black one (if it leads to a negative battery terminal) goes to the lone solder lug on the jack.
