HI ALL: According to the Audio Technica, the new A1000 and the new W1000 are better
than the A100Ti and the W100 respectively. Meanwhile, we have just obtained
3 more A100Ti headphones. I hope this helps. Thank you

Damn! Now this presents a really tough choice. Both the A100ti and the A1000 are priced the same. The A100 has been reviewed quite well by numerous people on this board, and the only words on the A1000 are that it's better than the A100, and that's coming from the manufacturer.

Hmmmmm....I want a pair of AT's, but which ones?!?

BOTH

unless the A1000 suddenly becomes a limited edition, just wait for those brave folks who have already ordered to post their impressions

you could always pick whichever color you like better, the Limited's blue, or the 1000's grey

whichever ones you get, please do tell us how they are

I couldn't take it any longer!

I just ordered the A100Ti from Audiocubes. I figure their supply is much lower and that if reviews come in from here stating how amazingly good the A1000 is, it's a new product and I'll have plenty of opportunity to go for that in the months to come. I'll be sure to post a review after burn-in. And I'll try and post a comparison with my recently purchased HD580 (I was able to get them new for $50 thanks to a gift certificate - couldn't pass that up!).

*Eagerly awaits a package in the mail*

Hehe. That would be really cool, nanahachi. I'd love to hear the META, too. I've got a Creek OBH-11 and so far everyone's general consensus is that the META outclasses the Creek by a noticeable margin.

I've got some pretty high expectations for the A100Ti - it's my most expensive headphone purchase to date - by a wide margin.

Hmm, these AT phones look very tempting. . . but at the rate they are cranking em out, it looks like I'll have no problem auditioning them down the road.

I know, I know, I shouldn't care, but don't those AT100i's look SO much better than the 1000s?

My sentiments exactly. If there's little difference sonically between the two, I'd rather go for the older version, the A100Ti!

That's one of the reason why I don't want to upgrade.

that's because they have that ultra sexy glossy blue finish.

hmm, the A1000 would look soooooo much better than it is now if it had a finish like the 100Ti. still looks pretty good though. wonder why they didn't choose to do that?
