Instead of creating a new thread, I'll just maintain the details here. Please pass on your info via a post, in PM, or to me directly via e-mail. I will also create an e-mail group on my PC for circulating personal details like the address and so on.

There is no real obligation to list your gear...most folks have their list in their sigs. An informal RVSP or expressing interest in attending would be appreciate. Ta.

Well, two isnt a bad start :P

Do you look at OCAU by any chance? Because we might be able to pull in a couple of people from there with headphone setups.

Wouldnt be a head-fi meet anymore though.

HA! I'm interested!! I knew there was some of us folk in Melbourne! I know of at least one other head-fier who lives in Melbourne but he will be leaving Melb in mid-July IIRC.

He will be leaving Melb in mid-July? As in he's gone? (You posted that after mid july, so im a bity confused :P)

Well, 3 aint a bad start, ill post at OCAU when i get home tonight, as there are bound to be a couple of melbournians there with decent headphones.

Mind if i ask what gear you guys have?

I have px100, MS-1, cMoy, MINT, PIMETA (although im trying to sell it atm) and a soon-to-be-completed Dynalo.

I would be interested, however my equip is quite noobie (ipod mini + e2, hd-457, ex51). Plus i'm bit too young to be considered as an audiophile as my music preferences are different. I wouldnt mind meeting you guys but i wouldnt know what to do after that except leeching and experiencing the high end headphones you guys have. Sorry about this. I would recommend Melbourne people with high end setup to attend this meet xD
Thanks, Eric

Talking of sony cans i have the cd3ks. I haven't heard the 5ks so i'd be interested in what they sound like. I've also got the e4s now. I don't check head-fi as regularly as I used to so I guess PMs are good for me.

Just saw this thread. I'm up for it. Am planning on upgrading my source, plus an SR-325i is due to arrive this week.

I'm always up for anything, and have quite a collection of gear i can bring

Any location you got in mind?

(another OCAU'er here too, maybe we could cross post it on there, but i would rather 'experienced' people only as i dont want to be dealing with newbies just coming to hear everyone elses toys)
