After reading some impressions of both of these amps, it sounds like the Porta Corda MKIII has less bass impact and perhaps a better soundstage presentation than the Move.

I already own a Move, and like it, but these differences interest me, since I've been seeing some Porta Corda MKIIIs pop up on the for sale forums. Can anyone who's heard both add to the comparisons between the two or confirm/debunk the aforementioned conclusions?

I own a Porta CordaII and recently purchased a Move after having read impressive reviews. After a few days I returned the Move. It is a very personal matter of taste but to me Meier amps are (and I want them to be) analytical, transparent and uncoloured. To my ears the Move is a very good amp but it is too dark for my taste, too unresolved if compared to the PC. I missed the classical Meier touch, that I assume is much related to the use of the LM6171 opamp, and the Move is the first Meier amp that uses another opamp (AD8610). I use muy portable equipment for classical exclusively and there the Porta Corda really shines. For the same reason I also sold a SR-71 some time ago.
