with last update 1.0.6, read my memory of 128Gb (Samsung MicroSDXC U3) to add songs to my library take to much time compared with the previous firmware, 30 minutes or more

Music files in the memory card are the same, before and after updating firmware, I used other memory to update

To be more precise, I re-scanned all my library and I have timed it, result is:

And generally, it is recommended to update the firmware to latest version.

Go to "Settings -> General -> About device" and tap 7 times on 'Kernel version' to remove the limitation,and then reboot the player. After that you will be able to install any third-party apps.

I made a mistake in upgrading firmware previously. Accidentally downgrade instead of upgrading. Now it works. Thanks.

I tried. It won't let you. Says something about not being able to update the stock version.

I´ll stay with Pulsar app then, sadly it doesn’t recognize cue images as separate tracks. Any advice?

Update: The crosshair seems to be the now playing locator icon, clicking it locates the current playing song in your library folder. Finally i could install differents versions of the fiio music app with an app called APK editor pro. Now I´m testing the latest fiio music app 1.1.5 from the X5III/X7/X7MKII and Foobar2000 apk too.

Folder browsing is still a pain. The folders are never organized in the correct order. As someone who prefers to use folders instead of the media library, this tends to be somewhat annoying. Hopefully this can be fixed in a future update, as I think this is the only serious flaw still left.

I´m using foobar2000 and I´m happy how it manages folders.

With an app called APK editor pro install it in your fiio, press select an APK file and then common edit and you just change the package name adding a number or a letter apply the changes and now you can install it.
