Meet The FiiO M7: An Exynos 7270-Powered HiFi Music Player

Thanks for the response.
I found 2 bugs on my M7

I noticed that on MP3 files (44kHz, 16bit, 128kbps) their duration will be doubled. So after playing the song, there will be silence for a whole duration for that song
For example: A track that is 2m30s will be 5m

Another issue would be that when searching, clicking on the result plays the whole selection
For example:
I search for "Adele", results show Adele with 177 songs in total.
I click on the Adele text expecting to see a list of the albums but the player plays immediately
(There's a Play icon which should do the play but it seems like clicking anywhere will play all the songs)

I'm using 1.04 Firmware
Dear friend,

Please try this firmware for help instead: http://fiio-firmware.fiio.net/M7-beta/m7-ota-beta1112.zip
We will report your second feedback to the engineer for check.

Best regards

Best regards

The latest Samsung 512 GB SD card does not fix the issue with the micro gaps @M7 and also @M9 (it seems, the gaps are less @M9 but are existing).[/QUOTE]
Dear friend,

Please try to format your card to FAT32,NTFS and EXFAT to see whether your issue remains? If you have another sd card, you could have a try as well.

Best regards

Will M7 get an update to have Spotify and Airplay?

Kind of disappointed that M7 is higher end compared to M6 and it loses out on features
Dear friend,

No, Spotify and Airplay are not supported by the M7.
M7 has longer battery life and FM function while M6 is focus on wireless function. They have their own emphasis actually.

Best regards

Fiio, you've screwed up big time with this M6 release. What's the point of buying an M7 now? Who really cares about FM function and maybe 3-4 more hours of battery life? That's insignificant. The M6 is 50 dollars less and it is louder, sounds better (according to all reviewers), has a better screen, streaming apps, connectivity, etc. I feel tricked into paying 200 euros for the M7. Perhaps you don't realize that no one will buy the M7 and even M9 from now on. This means you'll probably ditch the support for the M7 and never resolve the bugs highlighted here. Very poor marketing decision, in my mind. This shoud have been M8 and priced between M7 and M9.
