DUNU’s next entry into our competitive product line targets a growing space – portable, dongle-style DAC/AMPS with the DTC-500. Complete 200 mW of output power, and 4.4 and 3.5mm headphone outputs the DTC-500 brings a unique solution for those looking to add a portable DAC/amp of this style to their collection.

At the heart of the DTC-500 hosts a flagship-level ES 9038Q2M DAC chip with decoding ability supporting up to PCM 32 Bit/768 Khz and DSD 512. It is also equipped with an ultra-low jitter 100m active clock crystal oscillator that allows for asynchronous data transmission, bypassing USB and SRC interference. The ES 9038Q2M outputs to two separate RT6863 amplifier chips, allowing the DTC-500 flexibility in driving all different kinds of headphones.

DUNU’s design team wanted the DTC-500 to stand out from the crowd with its elegant aesthetics, complete with a semi-transparent glass with an RGB light that allows users to understand what form of playback they are receiving with their file sample rate. The DTC-500 comes with a shielded C-C cable, and a USBA adapter, which is fully compatible with PC and Android, and can also be compatible with Apple devices by replacing the C-L cable.

The DTC-500 is now available at the price of $89.99 and will be available from our direct shop starting today.

Hahaha. I wonder if it can also sustain a direct baseball hit on the glass panel.

interesting....a mix of cybertruck and M15 design....with very similar dac+op amp that FIIO KA3.
really wonder how these 2 would compare.....
200mw is quite decent amping power too...now, injecting musicality to this DAC model is the hard part.

Keeping my fingers crossed for it...I also have Shanling UA3 inbound! With this I'll have all 3: ESS Sabre, AKM, and Cirrus Logic DACs in portable format 🤩 only R2R will be pending!
