I need help deciding whether to get the

"MEElectronics M9-BK Hi-Fi Sound-Isolating In-Ear Headphones"
or the
"Sony MDREX36V/BLK EX Earbud Headphones".

The MEElectronics one costs $17.99 on amazon and the Sony one costs $19.86.

Which one would be better in sound and fit/comfort?
This is the most I can afford right now. I don't plan on getting better earphones until next year.

I have the M9's and I have multiple friends with the Sonys. Get the MEEs. I could never get a good fit with the Sonys though, so take that with a grain of salt, but the Sonys were pretty unimpressive and muddy sounding.

I've decided to go with the M9. But I have another question..
When I checked amazon for the M9, there were two different products.

MEElectronics M9 - $17.99 - no mic + remote
MEElectronics M9P - $14.53 has mic + remote

Why is it that the M9 with the mic and remote costs less than the one without?

I do not really know, but my best guess is that it has to do with the fact that Newegg has been running some crazy deals on the M9P--I've seen it drop as low as $7.99. That has likely driven the price of the M9P down. Now why Newegg has been clearing out their M9P is beyond me--I mean other than to make way for the new models, but that does not really explain why it is the P model.
