MEElectronics "M What?" Promotion
Aug 2, 2010 at 10:32 AM Post #92 of 179
I've been using the m6s I got for a couple of days now.  I have to say that they are growing on me.  They are SO comfortable, and the soundstage is quite impressive for it's price category.  Also great for sleeping :)  So, I think I am retiring my torn up shure 210's now that I have these and a pair of turbine pro coppers which I have yet to try.

Ordered 2 pairs to replace the pairs of M9s I gave to my brothers. Hopefully I won't get the P models. I really liked the M9 so M6/M11+ will just be a plus.

I ordered a second set right before the promotion ended but it was probably a mistake.  I should have just gotten M6s from amazon instead of risking getting another pair of M9 for the slim chance of getting an M11+

Got mine today. It was an M9.
Ended up selling it to a flatmate for $15.
I was hoping for an M6 or M11, but it was fun waiting for them and opening the pack.
I'll be sticking with my RE0s & RE-ZEROS.

I have UE700s right now; I'm just hoping whatever I get are more comfortable.

UE700 uncomfortabe?  They sure seem really small.  Whats the issue w/ them?

I guess I have small ear canals, but it's the tips that are uncomfortable(especially for my right ear); though may have to do with scar tissue from past ear surgeries.  The drivers themselves are perfectly fine.  They're definitely more comfortable than the UE SF5 v2(different tip design), and since I can put them in a little deeper, seals better, but I can't keep them in long and have to put them in "just right" to make them bearable.  I might try to shrink or soften them somehow; or maybe try foam tips(if I decide not to work out with them).

I find the meelec biflange tips to be the softest tips i own (softer & smaller than the RE0 small biflanges).
if the meelec tips fit your ue700s you might have something more comfortable.

Haven't thought of using the MEE tips on my 700; though I do use them on my SF5 and they work much better than the original SFs.  I guess I'll give it a try and see how well that works.

Mine just arrived, they were M9's. I was hankering a bit for the P model because I have an iPhone coming in soon. Hey Joboto, if you get the P model do you wanna swap :p First impressions, these are bass MONSTERS, waaaay bassier than my R02 Pros :O Once I get the fit sorted out I will post some more.

Just got the M6 from this offer, oh and a car USB charger - but I already have two of those.  Haven't listened to them yet, but the tips seem a little on the cheap side, curious to try out the triple flange from an isolation point of view.
