great review. Picked mine up for $50 on amazon and loving them. Bit more extension in the base i think is about all i'd ask for. Completely agree with a design and build aspects, most comfortable iem i've used.

Thanks for the feedback, I haven't re-read it but I thought I mentioned they're not for bassheads or that the bass does not fully extend down all the way without losing detail. I believe at $50.00 it's a very good IEM for those who have not tried out BA armature IEMs, enjoy :)

Most detailed review of the A151's thus far. Well done...

Pretty sure these are my next set...

Thank you, if you want to read about their latest release (A161P) look here

Just wanted to add my observation with the bass response of these phones. As against the general notion of lack of bass in these phones I feel these phones are quite bassy(!!) but ofcourse I am coming from RE262. I feel the bass at times becomes bloated.
But it is just me.

+1, these weren't really lacking bass quantity-wise, but I did feel that better impact could have been put into the A151s.  This is all from memory though since I don't have my A151s anymore.

I still have my A151s and use them occasionally but have been using the A161Ps more now as I like their overall sound qualities better. While speaking of the A151s I feel that you are on target and the bass quantity is good but I don’t feel they extend all the way low. They have nice bass texture with good impact and they are precise but they just do not extend into the sub-bass region, so I would not call them bass head IEMs.
