I've come to the conclusion through reading reviews, opinions, and statements that I first off, can't afford the hd 570-600's i wanted so badly. Also apparently the grady 60/80's have a tendancy to be uncomfortable for those with a slightly mishapenly huge head. So, I've come to the conclusion that the MDR-7506's or the MDR-V6's are in my price range, and in the my best interest.

I was wondering if there was anything i should know, about one over the other, in making a decision on which to buy?

Or if i'm on the entire wrong path, and maybe should be looking at something other than either of these models?

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.

The v6/7506 are the exact same headphone sound wise. The only difference is the price and gold plug on the 7506.

And the better warranty on the V7506 and the different color stickers on each. But, yeah, they're the same.

I use my V6 daily and like it very much. I like my Grados better, but I often need the isolation, and the V6 do the job. You'll be satisfied, especially when you compare their price to the HD580/HD600 you wanted.
