The 3.5mm jack feels a lot more solid. The rest seems the same.

Where does an RE0 and RE00 lover turn for a juuuuuust slightly warmer/HE560 like sound around100$ nowadays?

I was eyeballing the ED3, but I'm not aware of it's level of detail, if it contends with the RE0. I'd imagine that a triple driver BA would compete nowadays no issue? The FR shows a great response, very much what I am looking for.

Have not compared RE-00 with EDC3 lately, I will have to do another comparison. But as the one who oversaw the tuning of EDC3 and I love the RE-00, I think you will be happy with EDC3.
