so,

I've tested the Zhaolu 2.5A I own with the Emu 1212M as a digital source and an analog recorder. The Emu is a great card and I've tested it by it self many times and got great RMAA results. The Zhaolu was tested with the LT1057 and the OPA2604 (I only have them at the moment), and the FR was the same. The OPA2604 has less distortion 0.0002 vs 0.0006, and about 2 db better in DR and noise-floor.
The dynamic range and noise floor of the Zhaolu is very nice. a real 110db noise floor and real 107dv dynamic range (and we all know that the actual results are always significantly lower than these on the spec's page). But a FR so bad I've not seen even on the worst OB sound cards (+0.49,-3.25). This is just awful. I did test it with several sound cards (including the Xonar D2, but the 1212M is the best so I posted the results of that card) to make sure this isn't a mistake because I just could not believe it as it doesn't sound like that.
Any idea what could cause these problems?

The test was like this:
EMU 1212M-->Optical cable/Coax cable (tested both)-->Zhaolu 2.5A-->2xRCA-1/4"-->Emu 1212M.

I dont think so as it has no problems at all and works fine, and it sounds great too. It sounds better than the 1212M for example, and it doesn't really sound like it has less treble, so the fact it has a FR of 3.5db less on treble really was a surprise for me.

Any chance anyone else can test it on hes Zhaolu as well? Obviously a non-modded to get the same results.
