Hi all.

I was hoping you might be able to help me out with finding an amp that will make my 250ohm DT-990 have fast, hard hitting impact like they were 10 ohms.

This fast, tight amp should have strong detail. It doesnt have to be portable.

I'll be listening to a lot of electronic music, so the bass must be gobsmackingly well controlled and *fast*. I cannot emphasis how fast I want this amp to move those drivers. I want them to break the speed of light :P

Oh, and the cheaper the better.
All help is much appreciated.

I dont think thats true because they lack "smack" or speed in the midrange as well, for snare hits for example. Im hoping its a matter of pushing 250ohms fast enough.

If they really arent capabable of being fast, do you think the 80ohm DT-770 would cut it? I heard they were faster.

As for spending, I really would prefer it cheap as possible but would consider anything below the $1000 mark

Look for Rudistor amps.

Like I said, anything below $1000 is considered but obviously the cheaper the better.

What about the Rudistor amps? Would they drive the DT-990s fast?
