Magnetic headphone cable connectors ?

I thought about this idea a while ago, turns out somebody makes them....

I always hate it when I turn the wrong way, or slide my chair back too far, and my whole headphone amp is yanked off the shelf.

Would a magnetic field at the case cause any havoc with the amps nearby circuitry ?

Those are pretty cool. It doesn't look like your average consumer will be able to get these though.

You might want to try Magtrix connectors - - these are really nifty, and would make a great audio connector. I've only used them for DC, but they'd be great for audio.

They're available at a lot of vendors... just Google them.
