magnavox cdc 735 opamps

Hello all

I have cracked open the old home unit and was wondering what a good replacement for these opamps would be. I am no engineer but I play one on TV.

NJM2100L AF AMP 8 PIN
NJM4558LD OP AMP; 8 PIN

the 2100L is to the output jacks.

The 4558 is not a good opamp. it is used in almost every Consumer grade equipment including the BS sound cards. Try AD-823, AD746, The 2100L i havent heared of but again try the above mentioned Opamps.

2100L is a SIP. I don't know anybody out there still make op amp in a SIP package.

I think there was a POOGE article about this or a similar unit by Walt Jung (and some other folks?) from along time ago in Audio Amateur Magazine.

LC audio http://www.lcaudio.com/ad825.htm has a pair of AD-825's upon a SIP adaptor.

Or you could hack your own since Pins 1-4 are the sane for the SIP and the DIP so just match these up by putting the DIP Opamp on one side and hardwire the other 4 pins.
