Machina II

Does anyone out there have a good transfer of it or know where to get one?

I have several versions that I downloaded but none of them sound that good. I have read that the Q101 transfer is the best, but I don't like that one either. Am I just being too picky about it since the vinyls were hand cut and transfered to digital?

BTW, I don't think that this is an infraction of the forum rules, since Machina II was released for free online by the Smashing Pumpkins, but if it is, then just delete this thread.

I was trying to find a copy of this, really any copy the other day. Have they gotten rid of it online or is it still available for free?

Yeah, I have the FLAC Q101 transfers, which are supposedly the best, but I still think they sound kind of blah

Thats what I used ^ then converted to apple lossless. Sounds dull. Some good music on there- surprised it has never seen a proper release.

I would jump on a CD copy of these if they mass released it. Hey, it's better than "Zeitgeist" (although I think I like that album more than a lot of people do).

I don't like Zeitgeist much. I think Zwan sounded better than the new Smashing Pumpkins.
