Dear Ladies and Gentlemen !
First, please excuse my lousy english - it has been a long time i needed to use it in written form
Concerning the HiFi-terms I am a noob too.
Actually I am a lower to medium experienced hearer when it comes to Music - and actually my budget is limited. Under these preemphesis I am facing the following problem:
To bring the Music (FLAC/mp3) from my MacBook to my Earphones, some AKG 240. So I need your advice, concerning a FireWire DAC & HeadphoneAMP at an overal Budget of about 500 -700 $. I am also happy for any alternatives.
Music I usually listen to is Blues, Jazz and Vocal beside some Classic and nearly to non Rock or Punk.
