on iOS, there are two great apps for music listening. Groove and Audissey, the former has best interface of any iPhone app and the latter one has settings for various headphones.

I am using JRiver Media Center 19 and its a feature full wonderful application. I have used Audirvana+ and Fidealia for a while... but for me... JRMC wins. I like the setting up of custom zones that it offers and Jremote is absolutely top notch for control my headless mini mac.

Another vote for JRiver Media Center. Much of my library is in FLAC and there just aren't a lot of other players for OSX that are any good that play FLAC.
