I sold my pimeta to a friend who I hooked on hifi headphones so I'm looking to get a better amp for myself. Going to be used with Grado SR-225 and Senn HD580. I know these have a switch for low/high gain, so iI'm thinking it should be alright? I know the SR-225 are a bit bright so will this have any issues with this particular amp? Also any comments on combining it with the HD580? Thanks

Sure, Just throw in a gain switch and you are all set.

Even without the gain switch a M3 will effectively drive both sets of cans.
You will just have to compromise on the gain setting a tad.

My M3 had conencted to 2 output for driving my K501 (120ohm) and a very old Sony phone(the model not exactly remember, something like MDR-470, which is 32 Ohm) parallelly. The sound is just te same great if either one disconnect

But only one problem: I had to turn the volume to around 11'o clock to make the K501 loud enough, while this will make the Sony very very loud..... Connecting 2 phones with different sensitivity will have problem that another listener keep on complaining too loud/not loud enough.

Not a big deal, when switching headphones with my old amp I reset the volume dial everytime, to prevent that "explosive sound" effect
