Has anyone had experience with these two sound cards? I'm planning on upgrading my Audigy 1 pretty soon, but still have no idea how these two perform. Can anyone share some thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

By the way, just to let you know that I'll be using the sound card for DVD viewing and music listening most often. Gaming comes in last. The ratio is pretty much like 50/40/10. (DVD/Music/Gaming) Or if you have any sound card recommendation that is better than these two, please help out a friend here. ANY SUGGESTION WILL DO!

Thanks

The Revolution isn't shipping yet so nobody has it. The Revolution is better because it's spec and it's measured better than M-Audio's 24/96 cards. The Revo has coax digital out and 8 channel analogue out, Circe Surround II, so it just has more features than the Sonica. Revo is a clear winner.

I will most likely be getting a Revolution to replace my TBSC once they hit an online store that accepts APO/FPO orders.

Looks to be great. Of course I will wait for some reviews first, but they usually come before release anyway

I'm sorry, I should have edited the Sonica in the topic as Sonica Theater. I missed the word "Theater". MY BAD! Anyway, is it much better than Sonica?

Thanks

Well the Sonica Theater is more expensive than the regular Sonica so if you're going to be in price range of Revolution, might as well get the Revo. It's DACs are better than the other Maudio 24/96 ones like the Sonicas

Umm....Sounds like the Revo will be my best bet since no one here has heard of Sonica Theater. I guess I'll order one when it's available.
