Having recently received a dac, I eagerly tried the digital coaxial out from my Revolution 7.1. But there was no sound! I tried KS,waveout, directsound and ASIO but nothing works. In the end I fixed the problem by installing the lastest generic drivers from VIA. Any ideas how to enable digital out using the m-audio drivers?

Another problem. My dac is a non-oversampling dac that is supposed to accept only 16 bits and 44.1khz digital. But apparently 24 and 32 bits work and so does 48kz, 88.2khz, 96khz and 176.4khz??!?! Does the digital out of the revo resamples so that everything is in 16 bits and 44.1khz?

BTW my dac is Ack Dack.

I just wanted to say I seem to have the same problem. I haven't tried the VIA drivers so I don't know if it's exactly the same, but yeah, I tried all sorts of settings, but no go. My DAC is a home-brew unit using the CS8412/4334. It has no problems locking on to my DVD player.
