Are the M-Audio IE-10 clones of the entry level UE IEMs? They look just like them, and M-Audio's product description claims that they use Ultimate Ears technology.

Just wondering since I've located a pair of these IEMs for a very low price. I don't think I'd use them myself, since I'm pretty set on ER-4P, but a friend of mine just got her entry into the hi-fi world via Sennheiser HD555 and now she wants something better than her iBuds for portable use.

There doesn't seem to be much information anywhere on these, but I can get ahold of a pair for next to nothing, so I'm strongly considering just biting the bullet, buying them and then posting my impressions. =)

its been a while since i've read about them, but yes, they're rebadged UEs, and if i remember correctly, the models are:
ie-10 == sf.3
ie-30 == sf.5 Pro
ie-20xb == sf.5 XB
ie-40 ==triple.fi

By real cheap I mean "trade a piece of computer stuff I don't use for them." As in basically free. If I like them enough I'll keep them until I can afford ER-4P, since my ER-6i are on their way out. If not, I'll give them to my friend and use my PK3s, though I hate not having isolation with my portable.

Left driver went dead today on the ER-6i. And no, it's not the filter. It's working again now but I think the cable's about had it.
