are you using a pure silver or silver plated cable ,?

I wouldn't say it's sibilant, but I do find it to be a little to strong on the highs. The lows are perfectly fine. The cable just makes the highs a little bit too much for me, esp if I'm walking on the street and have the volume up. I didn't notice this with the old cable. I still haven't had a chance to swap the filters yet.

The rear filter controls the bass. The front controls the upper mids and treble. The changes are shown in the graphs in my review:

Your graphs make me a bit worried about how much I can tone down the treble since I'm already using pink. Maybe I'll try tip rolling too.

Yeah I found the pink filter did such a good job of taming the mids and treble down to the point where I had to turn the volume up higher. At least you know it’s working? Haha. I wonder if the pink front and blue back filter combo makes more sense for a neutral tuning.

This seems much more robust. The sound seems very similar if not exactly the same... But only listened for about 2 mins. Plus it came in a cute wooden box.

I think it's both?? If you look at the pic a few posts up you can see it more clearly. It's two colours braided together.

Amazon calls it:

actually Brainwavz offers a very good discounted prices for B400 and now i am confused that i have to buy one ( B400) or save money for A5 ,
