LZ-A2S impressions thread

So, are you guys saying I'm better off buying a replacement cable for my TF10 rather than getting this ?

TF10 is legend status. Jerry Harvey tuned it when he was in UE. Amazing SQ for its time, and it has aged remarkably well with many users still fondly talking about it. If it were me, I'd make it last as long as it can. I'd buy a new cable for it and retire it to indoor use.

LZA2s sounds like a daily driver I'd throw into my backpack for rugged usage. I'd get this if I had spare change.

My approach to it - if Your absolutely love how TF10 sounds to Your ears without any lacks for Your preferences and taste, then just keep on using them and get new cable. It`s hardest thing to find something perfectly sounding to Your own ears, even if some may say this & that is "better".

I`m on the hunt atm for that IEM and I`m hoping LZ A2S will be IT... or at least very close to what I personally and subjectively wish to hear from IEM... with my gear, music and taste preferences.

Not that I wish to be rude but most of his posts have no "point". I have blocked him.
Sorry for OT.

So, what I finally did was, I bought a cable for my TF10 and got my friend to buy the LZ A2S. Now I can listen to both

Good plan. Do let us know if you like the LZA2S.

just got mine from gearbest—ootb not as good as advertised, mainly because their relaxed, L-shaped smooth signature isn’t my favorite. On its own terms, the bass here is as good as it gets—natural, controlled and beautifully articulated. However, to my ears it’s a bit out of balance with the rest; treble in particular is rolled off/recessed and could stand a bit more drive and emphasis. Overall, these favor smoothness over clarity and microdetail, and instrument placement isn’t precise. They do sound refined, albeit oriented towards a more laid back sound. I need to re-evaluate following burn-in.

Really? That`s not good news for me. I do hope we are hearing things differently or You just mixed it up with Z03A or something else.
Do You have HLSX808 or Magaosi BK50 and could You compare to those if You have?
...thus far, however, i like the cheaper vivo xe800/hlsx 808/swing diyie800 better, although i can certainly understand why the treble-sensitive would rave about these.

Well... I`m quite sensitive to treble, so, It will be good side of things. But really - how isn`t instrument placement precise? What songs? What source gear?

I doubt he's getting them mixed up with z03a because their sound is anything but laid back. The highs on the z03a border on being edgy.
