Wow, very nice. If this is a repaint (which I assume it is), how did you manage to keep the original yellow letters intact while covering the remaining surface in red? Either way, it looks great.

What's the difference between the Lunchbox I and the II? Has anyone compared these?

I can't comment on the subtle differences because I only have the LBII but I know that one of the improvements is the ability of the II to handle low-impedance cans. The new version Includes a switch on the front that allows low mode for cans under 150 Ohms. It sounds great w/ my RP21s which are 32 Ohms.

Looks good.

I had no idea that the Lunch Box was so small. With the iPod you get a sense of scale and the amp looks tiny compared to what I pictured.

I know you've been considering it for a while . . . I don't think you'll be disappointed. It should sound great with your Beyers too, at least. Let us know what you think when it arrives.

if im disappointed, i will already know who to blame =)..the synergy between them and the rp21 as you said and skylab also said about it with the 990. they are my main cans. plus my woody sr125 could benefit from tubes too
