Just got some great new headphones (beyer dt770's) and while testing them out I noticed that the volume on them are not nearly as high as I am sure it could be. I am using the 1/8 headphone plug turned all the way up plugged into a m-audio mobile pre usb interface.
Is my problem that I need a headphone pre-amp, which will boost the volume significantly? That's really my only question.
All system sound is turned all the way up.. I am sure these headphones can go louder than this.
P.S I just tried them on an iphone and it is way louder on the phone.. ...??
