I travel around the country streaming competitive video games. I'm looking for a pair of low-profile active speakers to travel with. My gaming monitor doesn't have built-in speakers, and ones that do aren't the easiest to travel with.

Wouldn't a headset/headphones work better in your situation?

In my opinion it's kinda hard to find a low profile 2.0 system.

However, depending on how steep your price range is. These Bowers & Wilkins Hi-fi speakers are really great for their size.

I'm not sure if thats exactly what you are looking for. But they can for sure fill a room. Depending on how big. Anything above 12x12 I would go for something for unless you have some kind of mic sending the sound through a PA system.

Other places sell them as well. Like Best Buy, Apple, Frys, etc

They need to go through my monitors 3.5mm out. Also at that price I could buy 3 benq or Asus evo/mlg monitors which have built-in speakers.
