Lotoo Paw 6000 (2019)

I can comfirm on my new LPGT, that exFAT is more compatible compared to FAT32, to my suprise the LPGT formats the card to exFAT. Media content loads faster with exFAT than FAT32 with my 10,000 files I had on my 1TB card.

I lent my PAW6000 to a friend temporarily so I can't do any comparing or testing. The P6K being a newer device would probably be more compatible with both exFAT and FAT32.

Hey guys...best file format for PAW 6000...FAT32 or exFAT? Opinions, advantages...disadvantages. Can't seem to find it written anywhere. Thanks.

I can also confirm that exFAT seems to be the preferred format. I’m using a 1tb card with no issues.

Is there a way to contact Lotoo at all?
I just wanted to recommend them a slight adjustment in the User Interface, could they perhaps pull everything down in playback screen so we can all see the full album art instead of being slightly covered on the top by the top panel display? It sucks to not be able to see the full album art display.

I have successfully contacted them before at service@lotoo.cn They responded very quickly. I was impressed with their speedy communication. They even analyzed some file tags for me to determine an issue I was having which is going to influence a future firmware update.

No, same as SE. One of the benefits.

The same as LPGT, which is great when A/Bing IEMs with different cable termination

Interesting, so I'm guessing the only benefit is a more secure connection?
Possibly greater instrument separation and more refinement, but otherwise similar. Very different to the Sony philosophy, where SE is extremely underpowered and technically inferior to balanced. The connections are strong on both outputs on the Lotoo.

Lotoo OS update on LP6K. Super slow, I'd say. I am not saying it's an issue but for such a slick and impressive OS, the update link should work fast. 15949074884377785768441573477843.jpg20200716_191602.jpg

You are downloading from a server in China, maybe they are throttling IPs from India :D But seriously, if it is slow then you can download it directly from http://www.lotoo.cn/english/bottom/Service/Download/Hi_Fi_Music_Player/2020/0427/80.html and then follow instructions in zip file where to copy the fw file for local installation.

Has anyone compared this DAP to the Astell & Kern SR15?
To my ears and taste, the Lotoo P6K sounds about on par or a bit better than the SP1000. I never had the SR15 for too long but I would say that even though it has a great neutral tuning it is quite different from the SP1000 and Lotoo in terms of dynamics and soundstage.
